History of St Peter's College AFC
In 2006/07 St Peter's finished 28th out of 28 colleges in the JCR league, although they might argue that if they had played all their games they might have finished in a slightly higher position. Throughout their history, St Peter's have not been a football club that have regularly produced teams capable of competing in the higher echelons of college football, the exception being the 1989/90 team that won the inter-college league. Other highlights include the division 2 title in 1969/70 and 1982/83. After the re-formatting of the college leagues in 2000/01, St Peter's have found themselves mostly in the bottom division - a brief foray into the First division in 2005/06 after they had claimed the division 2 title the previous year was halted after 1 season when they finished bottom.
